You guys asked for it, so here it is!! I had a couple messages recently for freezer-friendly recipes, so I went through my favorite PaleOMG recipes to round up the best ones. But before we get into the recipes, let’s talk about the best way to defrost and reheat the food your frozen food. All you gotta do is follow two simple steps:
- Defrost the food from the freezer. I always think letting the food defrost on the counter is the best because it ensures that the food doesn’t get soggy or overcooked by trying to defrost it in the microwave.
- Once defrosted, reheat the meal using the same technique you cooked it in the first place. For example, if you made waffles, defrost them then reheat them back in the waffle iron. If you cooked a pork tenderloin in the oven, defrost it then reheat it in the oven. If you made a hash in a pan, reheat it back through in a pan. Get it? The only thing that will be a tad different is an instant pot recipe – those can often be reheated in a pot over the stovetop instead of in an instant pot!
